Easter egg hunt draws a crowd

Dozens of families assembled at Northridge Park last Saturday for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Highlands Ranch Community Association.

The sea of plastic, colorful eggs that covered the grassy field didn’t stay for long. Children one to 11 years old carried baskets and raced to collect as many treat-filled eggs as possible over the half-hour period.

Guests enjoyed sunshine, vendors and photo opportunities. To top off the morning, the Easter bunny made a surprise appearance.
