A family affairI’m from Castle Pines — I went to school at Rock Canyon in Highlands Ranch. I’m 19 years old. I go to college at Colorado State University. My degree is in biology — I want to do plant-food research.I have a twin sister and a younger sister. Most of my family members work at The Bundt Shoppe — my mom is the manager at the Highlands Ranch location and my sisters work at other locations. It’s not our business — we just like working here.I love to knit, mostly just scarves but I’m hoping to do a sweater someday, when I have more time. The Bundt ShoppeWe have three different locations: Highlands Ranch, Greenwood Village and Castle Pines. We do all different flavors and sizes of cakes. The business is 11 years old. The Highlands Ranch location, in Town Center, opened in February. It’s a great place to work and these are the best cakes I’ve ever had. I’ve worked here for 3 1/2 years. My favorite flavor is all-American cherry — it’s an almond and cherry mix and it’s the current flavor of the month. Our owner, Pam, picks classic flavors each month based on the season.Interesting factI’ve broken a lot of bones and I broke my neck about five years ago. I tripped and fell in a bounce house. It’s all healed now but most people who break their C2 vertebra are paralyzed or dead. God was certainly looking out for me.
