The Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident early Wednesday when a resident drove into the garage of a neighbor's home.
Just before 7 a.m., a 28-year-old man fell asleep with his car in neutral, and the vehicle rolled down the street into the garage of another residence, according to the sheriff's office. The incident occurred near the intersection of
Wynterbrook Drive and Venneford Ranch Road. There were no injuries and alcohol was not a factor. The suspect has been summoned to appear in court for careless driving.
