Dozens of Highlands Ranch dogs and fluorescent yellow tennis balls filled the outdoor pool at Westridge Recreation Center on Sept. 8. Each year, the HRCA hosts the annual Doggie Splash before the pool is drained and closed for the season. Four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes played fetch and wrestled in the pool as owners gleefully watched from the side. For the human attendees, the event had vendor booths, pet adoptions and dog supplies.
