September Bird Walk

Flock to the next bird walk! Each month, we team up with an Audubon Master Birder from the Front Range Birding Company to discover the rich bird habitats of Hudson Gardens. You’ll leave with insights into local wildlife, birding techniques, identification tips, and much more! Whether you are new to birding or an experienced birder, there is always something exciting to see through your binoculars! Early registration is strongly encouraged as participation is limited. This walk will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Participants will meet in front of the Welcome Center by 8 am. Bring snacks, water, and a pair of binoculars.

Energy Day, Denver’s Largest Free, Family STEM Festival on Saturday, September 28

Colorado’s Energy Day Festival, put on by Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA) and Consumer Energy Education Foundation (CEEF), will feature exciting exhibits and interactions with Colorado’s local energy experts designed to spark students’ interest in science, technology, engineering and math, preparing them for a future in STEM. Energy Day is Denver’s largest annual, FREE, STEM festival on Saturday, September 28 from 11:00AM to 4:00PM at Denver’s East High School, 1600 City Park Esplanade.

The CWHF vision is to inspire women in STEM and women from other walks of life to consider learning and sharing the inspiring stories of our Inductees in STEM fields with the women they work with, their daughters, their friends, and even if considering a career move themselves.

Forest Bathing: A Guided Walk

We invite you to join us and experience the relaxing and restorative practice of forest bathing (shinrin-yoku). Studies suggest that a regular practice of forest bathing may help to boost the immune system, lower stress hormones, and improve cognitive function. During the walk, you will move slowly through the gardens as you are guided through a series of invitations to mindfully engage your senses for closer connection with the natural world. Program will meet in the Welcome Gardens at Hudson Gardens. Space is limited, and advance registration is recommended. Not suitable for children.
