The calendar says January, so it's about time to talk conference basketball for both Highlands Ranch and Littleton high schools.
The league season for the Falcons continues at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at ThunderRidge. HRHS won nine of its first 11 starts but lost its only Continental League contest.
Littleton (4-8 this season) split its first two games in the class 4A/5A Jeffco League. The next in-league game is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at home against Green Mountain. Before that, the Lions visit Englewood at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 17.
