A day-long celebration June 19 will mark the opening of the
nation’s first Giant Cycling World in Littleton’s Aspen Grove
Shopping Center.
The new retail store is from Giant Bicycle, the world’s largest
bike manufacturer. Owned by Eric Krell and Vint Schoenfeldt, owners
of the six Rocky Mountain Spine and Sport Clinics, the store will
feature the latest bicycle technology.
The public is invited to participate in opening-day group rides
with Olympic and professional cyclists and mountain bikers,
including world record holder and national champion Jeff Lenosky,
2008 Olympic Mountain Bike Team member Adam Craig and 2008 Olympic
Team member and 2007 Singlespeed Champion Carl Decker.
The rides will be followed by bike-maintenance clinics and the
high-flying stunt performances of Lenosky. Participants will also
have the chance to demo and get discounts on Giant bicycles.
Giant Cycling World is located in the Aspen Grove Shopping
Center, 7301 S. Santa Fe Drive.
