How Douglas County voted in the presidential race

The Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan ticket earned 93,930 votes, or 62.55 percent of the ballots cast in Douglas County.

Re-elected president Barack Obama and vice president Joe Biden received 54,093 votes, or 36.02 percent. The next closest candidate, Libertarian Gary Johnson, got 1,456 votes, accounting for less than 1 percent in the county.

Ninety percent, or roughly 136,100 out of the 150,700 residents who voted in the election, cast their ballots early.
