Letter - Kurt Huffman is needed

As Colorado risks becoming more polarized, it's critical we have unifying leaders who represent Highlands Ranch. That's why I'm happy to have Kurt Huffman representing the voice and values of our community at the Colorado House.

Kurt Huffman consistently demonstrates his desire and ability to serve all of our community without being divisive. Before being appointed our state representative for House District 43, Kurt was an active community volunteer serving as a legislative volunteer, Douglas County planning commissioner, district delegate for the Highlands Ranch Community Association, and as a volunteer for the Highlands Ranch Metro District, Centennial Water Sanitation District, and the Douglas County Republicans.

While serving with these diverse groups, Kurt listened to, understood, and discussed solutions for what's important to them and the communities they serve. He knows that keeping our communities safe and affordable is important to all of us, no matter our demographic or political affiliation.

Kurt Huffman's background and collaborative leadership will serve our diverse community well. He is a problem-solver who prioritizes common sense solutions over politics. From working to reduce unnecessary new taxes and fees, to protecting Coloradans from increased crime and drug use, to expanding school choice while fighting for adequate public school funding, Kurt is focused on helping us all thrive.

Let's keep divisive politicians out of the state Capitol and keep common sense in the House of Representatives by reelecting Kurt Huffman — a proven leader who will serve our diverse voices with excellence!
