My Name Is ... Jana Emery

Travel adviser loves helping her clients in times of stress

Posted

I am 57 years old and I live in Highlands Ranch. I have lived here for five years.

I lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for 30 years prior to moving to Highlands Ranch. My daughters were both attending CU Boulder at the time and my parents and sister are all in the area so I felt it was a good time to move to this side of the Continental Divide.

Helping people travel

I am a travel adviser at Highlands Ranch Travel. I love being a part of helping people fulfill their travel dreams. I like connecting the dots and putting the travel puzzle together. In these challenging travel times, I am glad to be available in person to help to help my clients navigate through the process.

Free time and passions

I enjoy the farmers markets in the summer and the local concert series.

I have enjoyed some of the events at the Mansion, touring the Cherokee Ranch and learning about the history of the area.

In Highlands Ranch, I love the open space, walking and hiking trails. People always ask me" “Why did you leave the mountains?” I reply: “I have an absolutely beautiful view of the mountains as I drive to work down Highlands Ranch Parkway.”

My passions include taking care of my elderly parents and my basset hound, Daisy. I love to swim laps at Westridge rec center and I ski at Copper Mountain every chance I get.
