Park Meadows open, but most stores closed

Posted

Park Meadows, the state's largest indoor mall, remained open as of March 23 amid the COVID-19 outbreak, though most stores and the dining hall were closed. Plans called for the mall in Lone Tree to remain open from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Dillard's was the only major department store still open. Most of the restaurants in the dining hall closed, except for a café. All dining seating has been removed and signs were placed on tables stating the dining hall would remain shut down through the ban on dine-in services for bars and restaurants, which will last at least through April.

On its website, parkmeadows.com, officials state Park Meadows is monitoring the outbreak and heeding guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

Officials state Park Meadows has increased frequency of cleaning in highly touchable areas, increased the frequency of regular housekeeping and provided hand sanitizer throughout the mall.
