What makes you the best choice for this office?
I am a scientist and will make data-driven decisions. I will include voices that have not been heard. For example: the rights of LGBTQ+ community members, teachers asking for support and help with salary and working conditions, listening to community members concerns about our transportation shortcomings. I am a representative who will endeavor to be a "voice for ALL."
If you're elected, what one single issue will be at the top of your agenda?
Most pressing is addressing COVID-19 and ensuring we have safety protocols to protect and test all Coloradans, as well as monitor any COVID-19 vaccines. Second is dismantling TABOR so we can adequately fund education and transportation.
If you're elected, what must you accomplish in order for you to consider your term a success?
Improving the lives of students and teachers by advocating for smaller class sizes, paraeducators in every classroom and the ability of every student and/or family to see a mental health professional if warranted.
If you're elected, how will you work to help the state economy recover from the COVID-19 pandemic?
Assist small business monetarily so they can get back on their feet and hire employees. This action will lift the community as a whole.
If elected, what do you see as your role in leading the community through the on-going pandemic?
Using science and data we will learn and then share "best practices" in combatting COVID-19 to keep our communities safe.
