What makes you the best choice for this office?

I have lived all over the U.S.A and different countries and experienced a lot of communities. However, my heart and my favorite place in the world is in our town and where I've lived and worked for the last 14 years. I have been active in the community serving three terms on two different homeowners associations in my district. I'm an extremely hard worker, lead by example, listen carefully and research topics and issues prior to decision making. I organize my time so that I am available to people who need my help and those who will have an impact on our town. I want to hear from you!

If you're elected, what one single issue will be at the top of your agenda?

It is very hard to select one issue over another. However, all things COVID related and the recovery from the economic and school shutdowns should take priority. Helping our business community recover from the shutdown, making sure educators and students are on track and trained properly, and also ensuring our public safety during the recovery period is paramount. Finally, making sure any monies received from the state for the COVID recovery are allocated in a fair and speedy manner will be top priority. I believe that Castle Rock is poised to financially recover quickly because we have great retail opportunities, excellent public safety and incredible schools.

If you're elected, what must you accomplish in order for you to consider your term a success?

I would consider my term as a Castle Rock Town Councilor successful by finding solutions to increase our fiscal position, and to encourage economic development for our citizens. I will also focus on helping those in need of a better life for themselves and their families. When we lift up the entrepreneur, we empower them to be all they can be. The entrepreneur has the potential to go beyond supporting their own family — they can succeed to the benefit of the community.

If elected, how would you continue work to help small local businesses recover from COVID-19?

I will work to refine and continue the sound economic policies that are currently in place that protect the tax base and promote a strong economic development environment. I promise to stay in close contact and available with all the business owners in Castle Rock! I would also like to coordinate all of our awesome community outreaches to come together and work together (churches, civic groups, charities, nonprofits, corporations and businesses) to better our community.

What do you believe is the best way for Castle Rock to manage growth and development in coming years?

Castle Rock has invested in many of the right infrastructure ideas and tools to ensure the community is successful for the long haul. I would like to see the council demand more strict oversight over upcoming plans to ensure that there is continuity in our united goals and what we want to achieve. We need to expect that ongoing projects are contributing to make Castle Rock a stand-alone community by providing residents the opportunity to work and shop locally.
