Sibling stars of holiday movie came from Ranch

Christmas film is now available for purchase online, in stores

Three siblings originally from Highlands Ranch are featured in a new Christmas movie from Universal Studios that is now available for purchase online and in stores.

“My Adventures with Santa,” directed by Brian Skiba, is a family-friendly movie featuring elves, reindeer, snow and lots of stunts.

Chelsea, Tanner and Taylor Vale were thrilled to all be cast in the same movie, Chelsea Vale said.

“We had a very fun time,” she said in a phone interview.

The Vale siblings grew up in Highlands Ranch, with Chelsea attending ThunderRidge High School and Tanner and Taylor going to Ranch View Middle School before they all moved to Los Angeles to pursue careers in entertainment.

The siblings began pursuing this path at a young age after seeing their cousin perform in a show put on by Centerstage Starz in Centennial, Chelsea said.

“We all fell in love with the entertainment,” she said.

Soon after, their mother signed them up for dance classes at the same company and they began their training.

Eventually they got picked up by a Los Angeles dance agency and began traveling for auditions. After Chelsea got her first role in a movie, the family moved to Los Angeles in 2010.

“Highlands Ranch was an incredible community to grow up in,” she said. “Everybody was very encouraging of the arts.”

Chelsea often had to miss school to travel for auditions and eventually completed her diploma through home schooling.

“When I had to leave, they were very supportive of finding options to allow me to leave and explore my dreams but still get my education and have that sense of community,” she said about her high school.

Chelsea was on the ThunderRidge Poms team and was a cheerleader for the Colorado Rapids soccer club.

'My Adventures with Santa'

The movie, produced by David Gere, is about a family in crisis around Christmas. In an attempt to bring the family together, their son writes a note to Santa asking for help saving the family and the request is answered by them being sucked into a snow globe with Santa himself.

The movie, which was filmed in Connecticut, is rated as PG. Other actors include Denise Richards, Patrick Muldoon and Barbara Eden.

Chelsea plays a good elf named Bollowillow who works for Santa, and Tanner and Taylor play elves working for an evil elf princess.

The movie is now available at outlets including Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, iTunes, Prime Video, Google Play, Fandango Now and Xfinity.
