Rock Canyon, Mountain Vista, Valor Christian advance to postseason soccer

AURORA -- Three area teams made their way into the state 5A soccer playoffs, according to brackets released by the Colorado High School Activities Association,.
Rock Canyon drew the No. 8 seed and hosts No. 25 Poudre at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27. The winner gets either Liberty or Fairview in the second round Tuesday, Nov. 2.
Mountain Vista picked up the 14th seed. The Golden Eagles host Aurora Central at 4 p.m. Oct. 27. The winner gets either Fort Collins or Adams City in the second round.
Valor Christian has the No. 2 seed and hosts Doherty Oct. 27. The winner gets either Lakewood or Denver East in the second round.
