Streets at SouthGlenn kicks off holidays with tree lighting

Santa Claus will make a grand entrance into Commons Park aboard a holiday-themed Clydesdale carriage at the Streets at SouthGlenn's annual holiday tree-lighting celebration.

Holiday events and entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 22. Santa will light up thousands of lights on the tree and surrounding areas. U.S. National level skaters will perform an exhibition for the official opening of The Cube. Santa will be available for visits in guest services immediately following the ice show.

“This event has become a true holiday tradition with local families,” Thomas Gendreau Sr., asset manager for Alberta Development Partners, said in a news release. “It's a very magical night for kids and grownups alike.”

Other activities include Clydesdale carriage rides, Dickens carolers, holiday photo booth, photo ops, ice sculptures, cookies and cocoa with elves by the fireplace, and free ice skating at The Cube.

The Streets at SouthGlenn is at the corner of University Boulevard and Arapahoe Road in Centennial. Learn more at
