Enjoy three hours of Topgolf, a fajita fiesta, prizes and fun in support of UNICEF.
“This is a fun day for the entire family,” Greg Collins, community chair at UNICEF, said in a news release. “Topgolf is a popular and fun activity in summer, all while supporting an amazing cause.”
The 2019 summer party is Sunday, July 28, from noon to 3 p.m. at Topgolf, 10601 E. Easter Ave., Centennial. Sponsorships and donations are welcome.
“For the 2018 summer party, we raised $2,000 for UNICEF, and in 2019, we want to triple that number,” Ally Baucom from UNICEF said in the release. “Having fun, being active and creating awareness of the great work of UNICEF, is what we strive for each year.”
UNICEF works to save children’s lives, to defend their rights, and fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. Some of UNICEF’s efforts include working on helping every child grow up in a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring that every child has the right to learn and reaching every child in emergencies.
UNICEF saves millions of children’s lives each year. From 2014-18 UNICEF vaccinated more than 195 million children against measles.
