Vandals hit homes

Posted

Douglas County deputies are seeking a vandal or vandals who spray painted derogatory statements and a profanity on two homes backing a greenbelt Sept. 6.

A deputy responded at about 9:30 a.m. to a house in the 10000 block of Savannah Sparrow Court.

The resident found the words “gay pride” spray painted in black on the back of her house, on the siding.

Neither the reporting party nor her adult children are homosexual, so she told the deputy that she thought it was “just kids” vandalizing the house.

Her neighbor had one profanity painted on his glass sliding door.

Neither resident noticed any noise in the night.
